Following months of planning, arrays of costume designs, and materials meticulously hand-picked by Christy, the founder herself, BAAGUS proudly presents its new series – Dance with Curtain. We cordially invite you to join us on an atmospheric journey, where we discover the wonderful match of curtain and fashion through the eyes of Christy Wong – the founder and Art Director of BAAGUS.

Twelve unique sets of surprises will be unveiled every Tuesday, where Christy reveals her tremendous self-designed curtains with unique pairings and the distinctive home aesthetic value each of them brings.

The seventh chapter of BAAGUS Dance with Curtain series – [Un Bal] is a story of courage and class. In this epitome of sophistication, you will brace through the odds, pluck up your courage and dance to the poise and rhythm – Of flowing grace and beautiful moves, you will become the shiniest spotlight in the ballroom.

Courage has always been Christy’s major entrepreneurial spirit that she holds dearly in her daily adventure. It is also this courageous spirit that contributes to the unique curtain designs at BAAGUS which further differentiates BAAGUS from the others.

As a designer, the ability to bring pictures of a novel beauty to life is crucial. The wildest imagination and biggest leap require significant courage to come through. As the founder of BAAGUS, Christy embeds the bravery to be firm when being questioned, to stand for what she believes, to organize all noises and maintain a clear judgment towards the notion of beauty.

It is with such assurance that she builds a unique and fashionable style for BAAGUS that endures the test of time.

Today, in our seventh chapter of BAAGUS Dance with Curtain series – “Un Bal”, we invite you to witness this abiding charm.

“Un Bal” is a beautiful piece composed by French composer, Hector Berlioz. First, it leads you on a soothing journey, soft and pure; then it invites you to express the feeling through its uplifting, exciting and captivating melody. Just like this set of curtains – Modern yet classic, dreamy and mesmerizing.

While black and gray colours are monochromes, they are also neutral colours that can be easily matched with every colour of your liking. When these two classic colours combine, they create a naturally elegant and subtly luxurious ambience for the space it hangs.

This curtain highlights the classic gray at its best. When matched with a black flannel border, the contrast between both highlights the shades and tints of the enchanting colour scheme, modest and stylish.

The lattice prints on the gray sheer curtain add a depth of character to the design. When placed alongside Christy’s self-designed Hepburn’s little black dress and leather furniture, the space is elevated in all facets of fashion elements – It is retro, elegant, and classic in unison.
