“I have a set of standards that I adhere to when it comes to curtains production, and there is no excuse to compromise on any of those qualities.”
Looking back a decade prior when the market expectations towards curtains’ quality and style were not as high as they are today, Christy’s then business partners might find her nitpicking over the production of the curtains. However, Christy was firm to not compromise on the quality of her creation, because it is only when the standards of curtains are on par with the ideals that the team can provide the best curtains advice to their customers in full confidence.
It is this pursuit of perfection that fuels Christy to put in the extra effort in order to stand tall and fearlessly in the ever-changing future.
“I give my best in everything I do. If it doesn’t feel right, I’ll take a pause, adjust, and try again.” Regardless of the waves of changes that hit her throughout her entrepreneurial journey, Christy remains firm with her goal. Employees who’ve followed Christy from the beginning might initially be puzzled by her constant change of plans as she explores; but now they stand by firmly and full of confidence with Christy’s direction.
In this tenth chapter of BAAGUS Dance with Curtain series – [Tales from the Vienna Woods], we take a glance into the courageous spirit of embracing the unknown.
[Tales from the Vienna Woods] is a beautiful waltz piece created by world-renowned composer, Johann Strauss ll. This piece prominently paints a vivid serene morning amongst the jungle where joyful people sing and dance, pure and delightful just like the design of this sheer curtain.
A whole new world lies beyond the sheer – A garden of your own or a resting place, the decision is yours.
Instead of the usual match of curtains with heavy drapes, [Tales from the Vienna Woods] uses sheer curtain as the main body of the design. Wearing it on Christy’s specially designed glass room at home, the sheer curtain not only filters but additionally adjusts the indoor lighting naturally, decorating both sides of the glass room with ever-looming romance and peace.
Who says you can’t bring the holidays home? Getting all cosy in your little white dress on a post raining morning, brewing a delicate pot of hot tea of your preferred flavour, you are all ready to immerse in the tranquility and the pure petrichor.
As we glance through the photos of [Tales from the Vienna Woods], it is hard to neglect the presence of the white floral dress worn by the model. Christy has specially designed this dress for this set of curtains. The pure flowery dress blends in perfectly with the ivory space, so pleasantly comfortable to the eyes and soul.
This dress is one of the many proofs of Christy’s undying chase for newness and states of idealness.
“This was not my original design. After finalizing on the confirmed style, I’ve tested and altered the design multiple times and finally completed this flowery dress in time.” Just as Christy described, the team only get to see the real dress on the day of the photoshoot itself. Nonetheless, we are all in awe of this beautiful piece that Christy managed to pull through in such a short time frame.
It is the courage to explore beyond her own comfort zone, the grit to do better and not give up, and the determination to get past obstacles that create the beauty we see today. These are the nutrients that flourish the growth of the BAAGUS brand.
Now hold your dress, stride forward and embrace for what is yet to come – The good, the bad, and the changes.
We’ll see you next week for the eleventh chapter of BAAGUS Dance with Curtain series.
