Following months of planning, arrays of costume designs, and materials meticulously hand-picked by Christy, the founder herself, BAAGUS proudly presents its new series – Dance with Curtain. We cordially invite you to join us on an atmospheric journey, where we discover the wonderful match of curtain and fashion through the eyes of Christy Wong – the founder and Art Director of BAAGUS.

Twelve unique sets of surprises will be unveiled every Tuesday, where Christy reveals her tremendous self-designed curtains with unique pairings and the distinctive home aesthetic value each of them brings.

The eighth chapter of BAAGUS Dance with Curtain series – “Sobre las Olas” reveals the foundational principles of Christy’s designs. Fueled by the profound understanding of living space and powered by the ability to tailor designs accordingly – Christy and BAAGUS are on a vision to elevate every space.

Christy operates in her unique ways of thinking at work. Be it company performance, employee-related matters, or curtains’ quality concerns,  all is resolved through her ‘designer mindset’ – Instead of plainly following a typical solution, she weighs in her options and resources, then custom-tailors her actions to best address all concerns.

The eighth chapter of BAAGUS Dance with Curtain series – “Sobre las Olas” is a manifestation of the agile and flexible mindset that Christy and her team in BAAGUS carries.

“Sobre las Olas” is the best-known creation of Mexican composer Juventino Rosas. This classic waltz piece illustrates the liveliness of dancing waves in their entirety, rolling in joyful splashes and celebrating freedom. Just like the Venetian blinds in the background – Light and flexible without the heftiness of the fabric.

One of the biggest highlights of Venetian blinds is their capability of adjustments. The control over the room’s privacy setting and the volume of light passing through comes with ease. Would you like to feel the warmth of the morning sunshine? Simply pull the adjuster to invite the mellow rays to enter. Or are you in the mood for a little more privacy at night? Close the blinds and you have your very own private space to yourself.
